INTRODUCING A RISK-BASED APPROACH FOR REVIEWING SYSTEMS ON EXISTING BUILDINGS IN THE UK TO THE NEW ZEALAND MARKET

The Association is pleased to bring to you an exciting new seminar series around NZ and online. We will be holding 4 seminars in Tauranga, Auckland Christchurch and Wellington with Auckland also being available online too. 

There is still a lot of unknowns in relation to combustible cladding and how it should be addressed in NZ. The UK are leading the way and Australia are following them. A new Standard on assessing External Wall Cladding has been developed, BS9980 Fire risk appraisal of external wall construction and cladding of existing blocks of flats. The leading person on the development of this Standard was James Groves from BB7.
