Important information has been supplied that indicate another round of thefts of Fire Sprinkler Inlets (FSI) couplings is happening in Auckland. At this stage thefts have been identified in Penrose and South Auckland.

The theft of these is a serious safety concern as in the event of a fire, Fire Fighters will not be able to boost these systems.

If you or your staff are visiting any buildings protected by Sprinkler and/or Hydrant Systems, can you carry out a visual check on these to identify any theft or tampering with the couplings.

Please report any thefts to FPANZ via info@fpanz.org or call (0800) 037 269 so they can add it to their database and notify the Police and FENZ.
