Code of Practice - Passive Fire Protection Inspections - October 2025 - Draft for Consultation
The Association’s Passive Fire Protection Working Group has developed a Draft Code of Practice for Passive Fire Protection Inspections.
We are now inviting feedback to help us determine:
- Whether this Code of Practice is needed by the industry
- How practical and workable the document is in day-to-day use
How you can contribute:
1. Download the Draft Code of Practice document
2. Read through the document and, if possible, trial it during ab inspection to assess usability and relevance
3. Provide your feedback using the form so we can easily review and collate responses.
Your input is vital to ensure this Code of Practice is practical, user-friendly, and adds real value to the industry.
We look forward to receiving your feedback to admin@abciqp.org.nz by 31 October 2025.
We will be running a series of workshops around the country on the Code of Practice in February next year, so keep an eye out for the dates and venues which will be published soon.
